For more than three decades, I’ve worked with women navigating metabolic and hormonal change.
What I’ve learned is simple:
The body is not broken.
It is communicating.
For more than three decades, I’ve worked with women navigating metabolic and hormonal change.
What I’ve learned is simple:
The body is not broken.
It is communicating.
After 35+ years in clinical practice, I began noticing a pattern.
Motivated, intelligent women were doing everything “right.”
They were eating well. Exercising. Following advice. Checking labs.
And still, something wasn’t working.
Energy declined.
Weight resisted.
Hormones felt unpredictable.
Traditional care often labeled labs “normal.”
But these women did not feel normal.
What was missing wasn’t effort.
It was metabolic understanding.
The Metabolic Advantage Method was created to address that gap, integrating hormones, stress physiology, nutrition, and lifestyle into one cohesive, personalized strategy.

I am double board-certified in metabolic and hormone health (DC, ABAAHP, FAAMFM) with more than 35 years of clinical experience in functional and integrative care.
Over the course of my career, I’ve worked with thousands of patients and authored a best-selling book focused on long-term metabolic resilience.
But credentials are not what make this work effective.
Listening does.
Understanding patterns does.
Personalization does.

I do not believe in one-size-fits-all plans.
I do not believe symptoms are random.
And I do not believe midlife decline is inevitable.
Metabolism is adaptive.
Hormones are responsive.
The body is intelligent.
When we decode what it’s signaling, strategy replaces guesswork.
This is where sustainable change begins.

My professional life is grounded in the same principles I guide others through –– nourishment, time outdoors, thoughtful movement, and respect for the body’s rhythms.
This work is not theoretical to me.
It is lived.
